Beekeeping Experience

For anyone interested in bees or thinking of becoming a beekeeper.

Service Description

The 'Beekeeping Experience' is approximately 2 hours per session at one of our apiary locations across West Yorkshire. You will receive an introduction to honeybees and beekeeping, put on a beekeepers suit and look inside a working beehive. This is a great idea for a present on Birthdays, Christmas and other special events or just to book for yourself to tick off your bucket list. The 'Beekeeping Experience' is weather dependant and they will run between May and September, the dates may be subject to change if the weather is not suitable. We will contact you as soon as possible if it going to cancelled and we will allow you to rearrange the session for another date or a refund if required. The price displayed is per person, and any person 17 and under must attend with a paying adult. The minimum age of a child attending should be 6 or above. We will try to keep the number of people in each session low to allow each person to get the maximum involvement they can but if you are requesting group sessions please email us directly at outbackbeez@gmail.com Please do not attend if you have ever had an allergic reaction to a bee sting, the courses may require walking to the beehives on an uneven service.
